About Waka Pacific
Waka Pacific is a subsidiary organization of Waka Developments Limited dedicated to the development and operation of a blue carbon zone across the Pacific Ocean, benefiting the environment, the ocean, and the indigenous peoples of the Pacific. The organization focuses on features such as Blue Carbon Zone, Voluntary Carbon Market Trading, Cleaning up the Pacific Ocean, Sustainable Fisheries Management, and the Economic Development of Pacific Island Nations. Waka Pacific undertake extensive feasibility reports that identify mitigation and additionality strategies for the restoration, development and protection of the Pacific ocean and marine ecosystem that are implemented by and for Pacific Island nations and their communities to combat the negative impact of climate change. The main goal of this website is to provide information, facilitate communication, and raise awareness and understanding.

Our Mission
Waka Pacific is committed to restoring the mauri (life force) and mana (wellbeing) of the Pacific Ocean. Our mission is to develop and maintain a sustainable Pacific Blue Carbon Zone and Free Trade Zone that's supported by a Blue Economy using Digital Ledger Technology (that incorporates pollution levies) and is backed by natural resources the Pacific. This creates a new economy and climate change strategy based on traditional knowledge and contemporary technology.
